These Bathroom Laws Need to be Flushed Down the Toilet

Posted by Zman

As we all know by now North Carolina has a law that requires people to use the bathroom that corresponds to their biological sex.  In other words if they were born a male they have to use the Men's Room or if they were born female they have to use the Women's room.  The law puts trans gender people in the position of not being able to use the bathroom of th sex they are now.  This missguided laws claim they are "protecting children from those who change their sex to prey on children and women in public restrooms.  These laws assume that people who are transgender are perverts who prey on children and women which is in fact not true and a baseless fear being spread by ignorant people who probably have taken a piss next to a transgender person more times then they realize.  Look,   Let me put this simply so even an idiot can understand.  People who are transgender are born one sex but feel they should have been born the opposite.   They are not transgender because they want to go in to the opposite sex restroom and molest your daughter.  You are probably more likely to get gang raped by a heard of moose while walking backwards on your hands blindfolded  in Arizona then you are to be assaulted by a transgender person in the bathroom at Sears.  Now the Department of Justice is suing North Carolina and they of course being idiots, are suing back claiming they want toe courts to rule that HB2 does not discriminate.  They must have a pretty weird view of discrimination.  "On Monday A North Carolina school system adopted a policy allowing high school students  carry pepper spray this fall, a policy one board member said may be useful for students who encounter transgender classmates in the bathroom.
The Salisbury Post reports (http://bit.ly/1TzmUGY) the policy was adopted by the Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education during a work session on Monday.
Board member Chuck Hughes said using the sprays was purely defensive, and he referenced the North Carolina law that limits LGBT rights, saying such sprays could help female students if they go to the bathroom and don't know who's coming in after them."  Full article here.  Now I'm all for students carrying pepper spray for defense.  but it should not be used to attack someone for simply using the bathroom.   It is both sad and scary that people like Chuck Hughes is allowed to make educations decisions about children.  Honestly with his attitude, I wouldn't hire him to pick up my dog poop.

If you are the kind of person that is that obsessed over who is taking a dump in the stall next to you, then maybe you're the pervert.  Most people don't care.  Most rational people go in the bathroom, do what ever they need to do and get out.  Not a big deal.   We don't care what the person next to us is using to go to the bathroom.   If these people who love to spread fear would actually put their efforts in to actually doing good, just imagine the progress we could make if these fearful hateful sad excused for human beings would just change their ways and stop using hate and ignorance to discriminate against others.
