The Request-A-Thon To Benefit Sightless Club Of Vandalia begins at 10 PM EST tonight on Magic 109

So tonight starts a week long event for the team and the listeners of Magic 109. We will be doing a Request-A-Thon to raise money for The Sightless Club Of Vandalia. This is a nonprofit organization that helps persons who are blind get adaptive technology as well as other services they may require to promote independence self-Confidence as well as success in everyday life. This event will start tonight at 10 Pm. eastern and will run through Sunday December 16th. At the end of that day we will draw 3 different winners to win one of 3 Yankee Candle Prize Packs. We will be taking requests for a $1 minimum donation. Every $1 you donate will get you an entry into the giveaway. That’s not all though. Pay close attention because we will have some special things going on throughout the week. This will include more live programming and our presenters will be putting their own spin on things as well. What if you could get presenters to play songs they really hate, sing on air, do impressions, or who else knows what. All proceeds will be going directly to The Sightless Club Tune in to the kick-off show tonight at 10 Pm to find out all of the details and start requesting for a very worthy cause. We here at Magic 109 are proud to announce our partnership with the Sightless Club of Vandalia and to celebrate, we’re kicking it off with a request-a-thon, beginning this Saturday, December 8th, 2018! It’s easy to participate and best of all, you’ll feel good doing it and could walk away a winner yourself!
The Sightless Club of Vandalia’s mission is to help blind and visually impaired people achieve independence, self-confidence and self-sufficiency. We do this by helping to provide our members with adaptive equipment and technology needed for business, personal or even educational use. Through this, members are able to function on the same level as their sighted peers.

Beginning Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at 10 pm Eastern, join us as we kick-off our Yankee Candle Christmas Request-o-thon! From the 8th to the 16th, your favorite presenters will be taking your crazy and outlandish requests to help raise money for The Sightless Club of Vandalia! Donate as little as $1 or as much as you can and we’ll forward 100% of the proceeds to their worthy cause! Be prepared, the crazier and outlandish the request is, the more you’ll need to fork over! For every $1 you donate, we qualify you that many times in the request-o-thon.

Two Large Yankee Candles
One Large Yankee Candle

Note: You’ll be able to request the candles in any fragrance you like. We’ll have a list of the fragrances available to you before shipping the candle(s) out to you. The candles will also be labeled in print and braille with the fragrances you requested as well.
If you don’t win, but would like to get a candle, we will have a limited number of the candles available to you for $20. Just donate that amount to us and let us know after the donation that you’d like to receive one by using our ‘Contact Form’ on our website and we’ll get in touch with you! It will help us greatly by leaving a phone number in the message though or we may not be able to reach out to you in time before they sell out!
Everybody’s a winner though when giving this holiday season.
