It's another week of Mellow Rock on The Retro Arcade. Even us rockers need to chill out once in a while after work, school, or helping your friend Pinky try and take over the world every night we all have our favorite music to unwind with and this week, I'll be playing more mellow rock by Journey, Asia, Manfred Mann, Joe Walsh, & REM, plus some Hairband ballads by Twisted Sister, Skid Row, Poison, House Of Pain, and more. Plus a whole lot of memories. The show will be posted to www.mixcloud.com/candidradio/ tomorrow. Don't forget you will be able to hear The Retro Arcade live on Magic 109 on Thursdays starting August 30th from 7 - 10 PM Eastern. Also, there will be an All-Night Retro Arcade 80s Party on launch night August 24th. Start time TBA.

Some Big News for Candidradio Live & The Retro Arcade

Hello, we hope you are all having a great summer (or great winter if you're in the Southern hemisphere) If you have not seen the announcements on our other social media platforms, Candidradio Live will be leaving Panoramic Radio at the end of July and joining the new Magic 109 when the station launches on Friday, August 24th at noon Eastern time. We will be posting shows to our mixcloud channel. As of right now when we join Magic 109 Candidradio Live will air from 7PM - 10 PM on Tuesday evenings. The Retro Arcade will also be joining Magic 109 and will air Thursdays from 7 - 10 PM Eastern time. with archives posted to mixcloud. If there are any changes we will let you all know.

Also, you can follow our new twitter feed for both shows @CandidradioLive You will find show posts, music and artist info, and other music related info plus some classic TV clips and radio stuff that will be of interest to The Retro Arcade listeners and anyone who likes TV and Radio history. We plan to give you a break from the 24-hour news cycle on the Candidradio Live Twitter.
