HELP

this is gonna sound weird. Is there any organization who can help those with huge medical bills provide any relief other than bankruptcy? We had insurance when Keith had cornea transplant and we still owe just less than 20K to UIC. Keith lost his fulltime job and I just got a new FT job after being unemployed for too long. Walmart refuses to give him FT. He has been trying to obtain SSI to supplement his income. My part time job said I could no longer work there because I work all weekend at new job. The word foreclosure is coming up from our bank. STRESSED!

Have you tried talking to your lender? Depending on how far behind you are they may be willing to work with you. Odds are, it will cost them more to foreclose on you than it would be to work with you.
