Have you ever ran into a situation where you either had some HUGE home repair or medical bill or other come up and asked to borrow (knowing it will be paid back) money from parents? When you ask, they ask you why you don't have it and judge you on the last 5 purchases you made? This is why we would rather pay the 6% interest to a bank than ask our parents for money as the bank doesn't criticize us as to why we need the money. We didn't piss it away on drugs and booze. We didn't go to a day spa or get our hair done. We did not expect this huge thing or we would have had saved up for it. Yes I am at fault because I didn't plan for this huge home repair. I own the house and I should be able to take care of it without help. Maybe we should sell it and piss our low income away on renting again? Not everyone is a huge money manager and not everyone can make 50,000.00 a year. Angry? Stressed? Don't read this then as it won't help the matter at hand.
